Competency based interviews are conducted to ensure the proposed candidates are a match for the organisations requirements in terms of technical skills, cultural fit and career aspirations. We also perform credit history, criminal record and qualification verification checks on each and every candidate submitted to clients.
Management Selection and Development process
Cognitive Process Profile (CPP) is a scientifically recognised, cross culturally validated evaluation tool used to qualify individual potential (both immediate and long term). It moves beyond the concept of general intelligence as made popular by the IQ test and measures an individual’s ability to drive and cope with complex adaptive systems, such as business organisations. We compare the individual’s potential with the requirements of the intended position to evaluate the candidate’s ability to be successful.
Successful candidates and their direct manager / HR representative are both given personalised feedback on the individual’s strengths and development areas in relation to the requirements. Our Potential Development Expert will facilitate this process and it should be used as a basis of the employee Development process.

Pro Tem can evaluate existing client employees to ensure the same advantages are achieved, without Pro Tem being directly involved in the recruitment process.
INTERIM RECRUITMENT CAPABILITY
Provisioning of staff on a temporary / contract basis. We strive to provide suitable candidates within 4 to 48 hours depending on the level of specialisation required. We perform credit history, criminal record and qualification verification checks on each and every candidate submitted to clients. The service level is variable dependant on the clients requirements.

Designed to assist clients that have the required management structure in place to manage the required resources. Pro Tem provides the resources with the required skills and will ensure that the performance targets agreed with the client are achieved.

Assume operational responsibility for executing the assignment within the agreed boundaries

INTERIM TO PERMANENT CONVERSIONS
Staff are initially employed on a temporary basis and converted at a later stage to permanent employment at a reduced fee.

PROJECT CAPABILITY
Project based approach. The nature and extent of the assignment is defined and agreed upfront by both parties. Pro Tem assumes responsibility for the project execution. The client retains strategic control, direction and decision making powers. Pro Tem assumes responsibility for the project outcomes (deliverables, time and cost) as agreed with the clien and to provide comptenet and qualified seconded personnel to the project.
For candidates that work away from home we manage the whole process of getting them to the required location whether it is in South Africa or International, and establishing them at the remote location. This includes:

Weekly site visits
Pro Tem subscribe to the philosophy that a happy employee is a productive employee. We treat our contractors in the same way as we do permanent staff to ensure they are productive and complete their contract term, be it 3 months or 3 years. We conduct regular site visits to discuss performance with the contractor and ensure their wellbeing. Regular meetings also enable us to be fully aware of the working environment and the contractors state of mind.
